From the north, you glimpse this bustling port from the top of the ‘Bealach-an-Righ’. As you sweep down the hill towards the expanse of the bay the view opens up before you and one begins to appreciate why Oban has developed into Scotland’s most popular West Coast holiday town.
There are plenty of things to see and do in Oban, some suggestions might be McCaig’s Tower, the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary or the Oban Distillery. Or you can simply enjoy a wander along the main street with plenty of great shops and cafes/restaurants.
Pick up one of our six Days Away departures from Greenock or Paisley. Your coach arrives around 12 noon and you’ll have five hours free time to explore.
